The UNH’s Sustainability Institude houses the B Impact Clinic and most recently the Carbon Clinic. Both programs presents a unique and invaluable opportunity for businesses to receive impact support from passionate and dedicated students. Through these programs businesses can get help measuring their carbon footprint and create mitigating and reduction plans or get help navigating the B Impact Assessment as they work towards B Corp Certification or re-certification.
Back in 2020 we had on Fiona Wilson, the Director of the Sustainability Institute. Fiona is also a B Lab Ambassador and a member of the Maine B Corp Leadership Circle. In the Spring of 2021 we went through the B Impact Clinic and submitted our Assessment to begin moving through the verification process. After the clinic wrapped up, we had our team of students on the show to share their experience in the program and what it meant to them.
