7 Latinx-owned B Corps You Should Support During Latinx Heritage Month

People in the US celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15. Those 30 days celebrate the cultures, histories, and futures of folks from Spain, Mexico, South America, Central America, and the Caribbean.

First observed in 1968 as Hispanic Heritage Week, the commemoration now lasts a month in the US. The 30 days chosen for observation are significant, as it encompasses several Latinx independence days:  Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua on September 15, Mexico on September 16, and Chile on September 18.

It’s always a great day to celebrate Latinx cultures — but it’s an especially good time during Latinx Heritage Month. Looking to our own community — the B Corp community — there are so many amazing Latinx-owned B Corps to support this month…and all year long. This list highlights and uplifts seven amazing Latinx-owned B Corps based in the US. While this list is notably a small fraction of the 5,000+ B Corps around the globe (many of which are in Latin America), we hope this list will serve as an opportunity to amplify and support the word of Latinx business owners beyond this month.
